Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kellen Winslow 2010 Highlights

By: Stephen Patterson

With an ever-improving quarterback in Josh Freeman, former University of Miami standout Kellen Winslow could be in for a huge year next season with the Bucs, who coupeted for a playoff spot late into the season in 2010.

Can Winslow, Freeman, and Co. lead the Bucs past out of the always competitive NFC South division this season?

Let us know how you think they will do below the video.

Ray Lewis & Ed Reed: The Best Defensive Duo Ever? (Video)

By: Stephen Patterson

Although you may initially laugh at the thought of Ed Reed & Ray Lewis being the best defensive tandem in NFL history, maybe you should check out this highlight video and refresh your memory on what these two are all about.

Reed & Lewis, both former Miami Hurricanes and current Baltimore Ravens, are two of the hardest hitting players in the league and are near the top of the all-time list of greats at their respective positions.

Just imagine what the Ravens could have done during the pre-Flacco days with the duo on the other side of the ball if they had a quarterback better than Kyle Boller or Steve McNair, who was at the tail end of his career at that point.

Like I said, give the video a view and let us know where you think Lewis & Reed rank among the greatest defensive duos in NFL history.

I highly recommend you give it a view if you've never watched any Hurricane football so you can find out what it's all about.

A Look Back: 1993 Sugar Bowl Highlights - Alabama Vs. Miami (Video)

By: Tyler Ward

The United States was in store for a great game in 1993, when the No. 2 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide took on the No. 1 ranked Miami Hurricanes.

This was when the Hurricanes were at their peak and it was hard for any team to stop them. But that's when the Crimson Tide reared their heads.

Miami was favored by eight points entering the game and offensive star Lamar Thomas had done a lot of talking prior to the game's start.

That would not bode well for "The U".

Particularly known for one play, Alabama single-handedly won the game, 34-13.

But what's the play I speak of?

George Teague, of course.

At the end of a Gino Torretta pass, the aforementioned Thomas sprinted down the sideline for what looked like an 89-yard touchdown. As he ran down the sideline, defensive star Teague chased him down and stripped the ball.

This play would go down in history as "The Strip".

So here are the highlights from the 1993 edition of the Sugar Bowl:

NFL Top 10: The Top Kick Returners In NFL History

By: Tyler Ward

Being one of the most electrifying aspects in football, there have been some great returners since the NFL merger.

When a player scores a touchdown on a kick or punt return, it does more than just put up six points on the board. It excites not only the crowd, but the players, too. It can also provide a spark for the team and possibly make them even better.

Thanks to the guys at the NFL Network, I bring you a list of the top ten kick returners in NFL history.

Example: Player's name, Team they're most known playing for

10. Dante Hall, Kansas City Chiefs

Sean Taylor (RIP) Pro Bowl Hit On Brian Moorman (Video)

By: Stephen Patterson

Sean Taylor, who was sadly taken away from us far too soon, was one of the best players to ever come out of The U. This is one of his hardest hits, but we would love for you to share more in the comments section.

It's All About The U!

R.I.P Sean - You're still greatly missed and you will live on our hearts.

In Memory Of Sean Taylor

By: Stephen Patterson

Before his life was tragically taken in a home invasion robbery, Sean Taylor was one of the hardest hitting players in the NFL.

After a dominating career at the U, Taylor was selected in the top 10 of the 2004 Draft by the Washington Redskins. Before his tragic death, Taylor was a human highlight reel every time he took the field.

I jumped on YouTube and found this tribute video to the fallen star and one of my favorite all-time players. Feel free to share some of your fondest memories or videos of him below on the comments:

Seantrel Henderson To The U?

By: Stephen Patterson

Southern California may be missing a lot more than just the postseason this year. USC offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson, the #1 offensive lineman in the country, is reporting wavering on his commitment to the University of South California.

He is reportedly looking to make a move to ACC and joining the University of Miami (FL). If Henderson decides to leave USC, he will be the first player to jump ship since the NCAA announced sanctions against the university in June.

Henderson has already questioned whether or not he wanted to sign with USC, and it looks very likely he is on his way to Miami. Henderson has been viewed as potentially the top overall prospect for the 2010 season.

Already ranked in the preseason Top 25 heading into this season, The U could potentially be building a BCS championship contender.

While Henderson would have to sit out his first season because of the transfer, he would give the team a monster force on the linestarting in the 2011-12 season.

Miami could use a strong offensive lineman to protect the quaterback, and he would also open up the field for their backs.

Depending on who Miami can bring in for the 2011 season, they have the potential to field a Top 5 team and be right in middle of the BSC title mix.
