Xavier also announced that they had suspended freshman Dez Wells and walk-on Landen Amos for four games, junior guard Mark Lyons for two, and senior guard Tu Holloway for one game.

New York Jets: 2010-11 Season Ultimate Highlight

By: Stephen Patterson

The New York Jets somehow managed to return to the AFC Championship game last season, however, they once again fell short of their Super Bowl or bust goal that Rex Ryan continues to set for them prior to each season.

Considering Ryan once again made the proclamation for the upcoming season, I would expect the Jets to be battling late into January yet again.

However, it remains to be seen if this team can take the next step with Mark Sanchez leading the way on the offensive side of the ball.

No matter how good New York's defense is, at some point the offense is going to have to step up and win the big games for this team and that task largely falls onto the shoulders of Sanchez.

Do you think the Jets have what it takes to get to that next level this season?

Let us know what you think after checking out some of the best plays from yet another solid season by the New York Jets.

The Steelers made it all the way to the Super Bowl last season, despite not having their leader Ben Roethlisberger for the first four games of the regular season due to a league ordered suspension.

How do you think Pittsburgh will do this season in the always competitive AFC?

Green Bay Packers: 2010-11 Season Ultimate Highlight

By: Stephen Patterson

Fresh off winning the 2010-11 Super Bowl, the Green Bay Packers will being trying to defend their title this season.

Considering they were a walking M.A.S.H unit last season with a laundry list of injuries and they still managed to run the postseason gauntlet, it's scary to imagine what the Packers could do this season if they can stay healthy.

Heck, they were missing Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley for a majority of the season and they still had one of the most potent offenses in the league behind the arm of Aaron Rodgers.

How do you think they will fair in their efforts to repeat as Super Bowl champions?

Let us know what you think about their chances of repeating after checking some of their highlights en route to last season's title.

Minnesota Vikings: 2010-11 Season Ultimate Highlight

By: Stephen Patterson

Last season, the Vikings fell terribly short of everyone's expectations due to a variety of reasons.

Thanks largely in part to Brett Favre and Brad Childress, Minnesota fell far short of their Super Bowl goals and didn't even make it to the postseason.

As a matter of fact, neither Favre nor Childress even made it through the entire season, as Favre had his record streak of consecutive starts ended due to injuries and Childress was fired by the team after their horrendously bad start.

With Chilly and Favre out of the picture for the Vikings, can they turn things around this season and make it back to the postseason?

As long as the Colts have Peyton Manning, they will always be considered contenders in the AFC.

However, Manning showed signs of actually being a human being during last season, so Colts fans might not want to start celebrating too early.

After a disappointing end to last season, the Falcons will certainly look to go a little further in the playoffs this season.
