Southern California may be missing a lot more than just the postseason this year. USC offensive lineman Seantrel Henderson, the #1 offensive lineman in the country, is reporting wavering on his commitment to the University of South California.
He is reportedly looking to make a move to ACC and joining the University of Miami (FL). If Henderson decides to leave USC, he will be the first player to jump ship since the NCAA announced sanctions against the university in June.
Henderson has already questioned whether or not he wanted to sign with USC, and it looks very likely he is on his way to Miami. Henderson has been viewed as potentially the top overall prospect for the 2010 season.
Already ranked in the preseason Top 25 heading into this season, The U could potentially be building a BCS championship contender.
While Henderson would have to sit out his first season because of the transfer, he would give the team a monster force on the linestarting in the 2011-12 season.
Miami could use a strong offensive lineman to protect the quaterback, and he would also open up the field for their backs.
Depending on who Miami can bring in for the 2011 season, they have the potential to field a Top 5 team and be right in middle of the BSC title mix.
