Police have reported that Detroit Lions Defensive Tackle Ndamukong Suh crashed his car into a tree in downtown Portland, Oregon.
A report states that Suh was not impaired when he struck a tree at approximately 1:15 a.m. Saturday morning.
Also according to the police report, Suh lost control of his 1970 Chevrolet Coupe and then proceeded to strike a curb, light pole, drinking fountain and finally, a tree. His car was towed at the scene.
Suh also had two passengers in the car with him, but neither were hurt in the accident.
Suh was a graduate of Portland's Grant High School.
This is just another incident in the midst of a colossal downward spiral for the All-Pro.
On Thanksgiving last Thursday, Suh got in a scuffle with Packers' offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith. When the play was over, Suh banged Dietrich-Smith's head into the ground multiple times and then stomped on his arm while he was still laying on the ground.
On Tuesday, the NFL suspended Suh two games for his actions last Thursday. Suh would appeal the suspension, but was easily denied.
The Lions are expected to fine Suh the maximum amount for his actions ($25,000) and in turn, the franchise will have to pay the NFL $50,000 because their players have been fined over $100,000 this season.
Sine arriving in Detroit as the second overall pick last year, Suh has been fined multiple times for questionable hits and actions.
Suh is the reigning defensive rookie of the year. He has also been analyzed as the NFL's dirtiest player.
