Although you may initially laugh at the thought of Ed Reed & Ray Lewis being the best defensive tandem in NFL history, maybe you should check out this highlight video and refresh your memory on what these two are all about.
Reed & Lewis, both former Miami Hurricanes and current Baltimore Ravens, are two of the hardest hitting players in the league and are near the top of the all-time list of greats at their respective positions.
Just imagine what the Ravens could have done during the pre-Flacco days with the duo on the other side of the ball if they had a quarterback better than Kyle Boller or Steve McNair, who was at the tail end of his career at that point.
